PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

Whether you’re a first timer, an intermediate or experienced shooter, private instruction accelerates learning and supercharges your skills. Private sessions are available to individuals, couples, families, and groups of friends, and can be conducted at our Silverlake studio, in your own home, or on the range. Training can vary from booking a couple of hours of personalized instruction, to specific training on the brand-new gun you bought, or even arranging a full private Pistol Shooter 1 course for your family or friends.

Private Instruction for Individuals and Couples

Private instruction is a great way to mitigate fear and learn firearms safety and gun handling in a shorter period than you would in a group setting. From a few hours to a full day, LOC tailors each session to your needs. Just reach out and share what you’re interested in learning.

 Pricing for Private Instruction at our Silverlake studio:

• 1 Participant (all firearm types): $90/hour
• 2 Participants: $75/hour per participant ($150/hour total)

Private Handgun Training For Actors

Formal handgun training looks great on your resume. Do you have an audition or a role that requires firearms handling? LOC will help you John Wick your way to cinematic glory! (Private Instruction rates apply.)  We’ll customize private sessions for your specific needs. For example, do you need video footage of your gun handling for a self-tape or demo reel? We can arrange it. (Tell us what you need and we’ll give you a quote.)

Private Live-Fire Coaching

Already own a gun and want coaching with it on the range? Or don’t own one yet, but want to test-drive a variety in a single visit? At Oak Tree Gun Club and LAX Firing Range, we have access to their entire rental inventory, and we’ll bring our own handgun collection for you to try for no extra charge.

Pricing for Private Range Appointments:

• Los Angeles Gun Club, downtown LA (all firearm types): $99 (90 minutes)
• LAX Firing Range or Oak Tree Gun Club, (all firearm types): $180 (90 minutes)

Private Instruction for Families and Groups

For families or groups of 3 or more, tell us what you’d like to learn and we’ll work out a plan together. We’ve hosted surprise birthday range days, family outings for kids home from college, bachelorette parties, and taught children ages 8-12 (yes, young people can learn gun safety!) Pricing typically follows our standard per-person course rates. Reach out for an exact quote. (Book a private Women On Target Instructional Shooting Clinic for your birthday or bachelorette party!)

Private Course Dates

Any course we offer can be booked privately or in a small group on a date of your choosing. Private dates for Pistol Shooter 1, Shotgun For Home Defense, and Intro To Rifles are priced per person, based on location and group size.

Pricing for Private Pistol/Shotgun/Rifle Course Dates at our Silverlake studio:

• 4 Participants: $300 each
• 3 Participants: $365 each
• 2 Participants: $450 each
• 1 Participant (private): $695
