Whether you’re a first-timer, a novice or experienced shooter, private instruction accelerates learning and supercharges your skills.

Private training is a great way to help mitigate your fear and learn safety fundamentals in a shorter period of time. From just a few hours to a full day, LOC can tailor a training session for just you or for you and a group of friends.

They say “perfect practice makes perfect”, and firearms marksmanship is a perishable skill.  If you don’t use it, you lose it!  Has it been a while since you last went to the range? We provide refreshers and range coaching.

Are you currently a professional with a duty weapon who is struggling to increase your qualification scores? For those with experience we’ll help you synthesize and integrate shooting knowledge you already possess for higher proficiency, precision, and practical performance. Whether it’s a minor tweak or complete overhaul of your technique, we’ll help you blast through whatever is standing in the way of better scores.

TRAINING LOCATIONS & PRICING

Left of Center Gun School’s home base is the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California but we love a good road trip. We can bring our highly acclaimed training to you, wherever you are. If you live outside of our home base, we’re happy to customize a course (or multiple courses) for your hometown.

Every course includes:

• Maximum of 4 participants.
• 6-8 hours of group instruction for Pistol, 4-6 hours for Shotgun.
• An array of firearms for your use both in training and on the range.
• State-of-the-art training aids including laser dryfire using electronic targets, computer aided electronic trigger press analysis, and Airsoft training.
• A comprehensive workbook and thumb drive of extras.
• Live range fire of 100 rounds (Pistol) 20 rounds (Shotgun for Home Defense) 80 rounds (Practical Shotgun) per participant, with plenty of one-on-one live fire coaching at the firing range.
• Top-quality noise canceling electronic hearing protection, ear plugs & eye protection, official qualification targets, and use of magazine speed loaders.

Private Instruction conducted at our Silverlake studio:

1 Participant (private): $90 an hour.
2 or more Participants: $75 an hour per participant.

Private instruction conducted elseware will incure addional travel and setup fees TBD based on location.
