Pistol Coaching Silverlake Social

We like to think of our LOC alumni as a family, and we regularly sponsor free group training and social events at our Silverlake studio for our alumni that foster community and camaraderie.

Event Description
Left of Center Gun School hosts this two-hour “refresher with refreshments” combo learning and social event every month. The evening begins in the comfortable setting of our Silverlake studio with a review of your basic pistol skills, including some very cool hands-on drills using high-tech tools that measure and record trigger jerk and muzzle movement. Refining your trigger pull, grip, and follow-through has never been more fun! We provide a printed step-by-step action list to take home with you, along with a few great dry-fire techniques to help you maintain alignment and stability. If you have your own handgun, we encourage you to bring it and train with it, but please leave live ammunition at home. No live ammo is allowed in the classroom at any time!

After the training, we provide yummy snacks, soda, and plenty of adult beverages.
Practice is critical to mastering marksmanship, so if you want to start hitting more bullseyes, come and hang out with Left of Center! This is a social gathering with purpose.

Pro Tip: This is the perfect event to come check out Left of Center Gun School, meet Dave Selmo and get a feel for why LOC continues to be rated #1 in Firearms Instruction in Los Angeles on Yelp year after year.

“David is an excellent instructor with a professional and warm demeanor. His approach takes away any stigma about firearms through knowledge and hands on experience. Then he takes it a step forward and makes it relaxed and fun. On top of all this, his follow up service is pretty amazing, with alumni outreach and events like this one. I have and will continue to recommend this school to all my friends no matter their firearms background.”
