TUES Appointment Availability: 10am – 5pm (Pistol: Steel only. Rifle/Shotgun: CLOSED)
Appointment Pricing: $180 (for 1.5 hours, Individual/Couple. However, if you are able to book a consecutive time slot when I am already there, then the price is a flat $99.)

GENERAL BOOKING INFO:
Shoot your gun(s) or ours. LA Gun Club and LAX Firing Range appointments can be made short notice. Oak Tree must be booked at least a day in advance. The majority of my clients prefer shooting at LA Gun Club due to it’s proximal location. However, it does not open until 3pm and only allows my clients Mon-Thursday. Therefore, on a Mon-Thurs, I typically cut other range appointments short so that I have an hour to get back to LA Gun Club by 3pm. Occasionally, I do have a Mon-Thursday evening open to shoot at other locations so ask!
RANGE OPTION INFO:
LA Gun Club is the oldest most iconic range in Los Angeles. It has one of the largest rental inventories in the world! The staff are multi-lingual, extremely friendly and helpful. Appointments are Mon-Thurs from 3pm on. If I have back-to-back appointments, I ask clients to show up slightly early so that I can rotate them through the same booth. If a client is late I must close out the booth and get back in line with the rest of the public. Individual range and ammo fees are $91. However, most clients prefer this over making a 2-hour round-trip drive to LAX or the 1.5 hour round-trip to Oak Tree. We can shoot pistols, carbines, most rifles, and 12-gauge shotguns but they don’t allow .22, .410-gauge, or 20-gauge shotguns simply because they do not have ammo for these weapons platforms. The club is less than a 5-miute walk from Girl and a Goat and The Factory Kitchen and a 10 minute walk from Flamingo Bar. (Flamingo is often where I hang out after shooting.) Oak Tree allows pistols, shotguns and rifles on their outdoor ranges. The range fee is $25 an hour per person. I bring the ammo and you reimburse me at my cost. Handgun Coaching: Oak Tree is the ideal place for LOC alumni to test out multiple handguns in one session. Determining what gun you like for a 1st time purchase can be accomplished here in 1.5 hours. Also, there are a couple of guns in Oak Tree’s rental inventory you can (and probably should) try and my membership allows access to them for free. There are two pistol ranges at Oak Tree. We typically use the “members only” paper target range so I can put up NRA assessment targets to help hone your marksmanship skills. However, occasionally the wind picks up and they close the paper range and we must instead shoot on the steal target range. The steal range features permanently installed metal targets at distances well beyond home defense. It also has “speed plate” targets which are much closer, a lot of fun, and can be used to practice rapid shooting at home defense distances. LAX Firing Range features digitally controlled indoor target booths and is an ideal alternate location for Pistol Shooter 1 clients to either qualify or reattempt qualification. LAX is both a good place to test multiple handguns, and also a great place for me to coach individuals on their own person handgun because we have complete autonomy in our booth. I have a Platinum Membership at LAX which allows us to go straight to the front of the line (no waiting) and get a booth without time limits. If it is your first time shooting at LAX with me you will also get a discount on your range fee. LAX Firing Range features the largest ammo supply store in Los Angeles. (Left of Center buys all our school ammo from LAX Ammo). Therefore, I don’t normally bring ammo to these appointments, but instead have you buy directly from the range.
