We’ll be training with Marline 336 RC\, a Ruger Mini 14\, a Savage Axis II Precision in .223\, a Ruger 10-22\, and a Ruger PC 9mm Backpacker.   \nIn the morning You’ll learn how to operate\, load & unload\, hold\, aim\, and fire each one. Next\, we take a dive into bullets\, ballistics\, and the art of acquiring targets and ranging targets using both glass optics and iron sights.  \nIn the afternoon we jump in our cars and head over to Oak Tree Gun Club in Newhall\, CA and put it all into practice. We fire a total of 65 rounds from all the various rifles listed at distances up to 140 yards.  \nValue Add: The Ruger PC 9mm Backpacker is an outstanding home defense weapon. It is small and has the weight and feel of a BB gun in your hands. It fires a 9mm pistol bullet from a standard Glock pistol magazine so it has virtually no perceived recoil.  We love it for two reasons: First\, it has a long history of successful police use (in its previous 1980’s wooden stock edition)\, and second\, it is one of the few legal 9mm carbines available in California NOT classified as an “assault rifle.”   \nThis is a really interesting and fun day.  Come join us! \nDave Selmo \nFYI: Can’t find a course date that works for you? Let’s discuss creating a new course date that does! I am totally open to adding a new date to the calendar.
